New location for old store on Queen St

This winter has seen the first vacancies on Queen St in years. Many people have their opinions on as to why this is occurring. Some blame locals for not supporting the merchants... some say it pure economics of supply and demand.
Having talked to many merchants recently, I would express that those that have a solid business plan and a well positioned product are set to do terrific business. Those that fail to provide these two elements will suffer. The successful merchants are looking to expand their presence on Queen St while the others are complaining about what ever comes to mind.

For example. I visited the new Irish Shop on Queen St today. They have recently expanded into a new building adjacent to the Shaw Theatre. They offer high quality Irish clothing, wonderful sweaters and a cool Irish Tea Shop in the rear. Lunch was great, soup, quiche and tea. Next best thing next to actually going to Ireland.

After lunch I walked over to a fellow REALTOR's office to drop off an offer, walked into the Post Office and walked into my bank. Yes a bank with people in it. Life in town is terrific. Feel free to visit and discover for yourself.
